All Vulpine reeds are currently made with a medium shape, a light profile, and a well-defined tip and rails. This creates a free blowing reed that provides great flexibility of tone, dynamics, and articulation without excess resistance.
If you are not a current member of the studio, or have never ordered reeds from WoodwindFox before, please include a note in your order about the player (age, years playing/level of ability, etc.) so the reeds can be specifically tailored to their needs.

CORONAVIRUS STATEMENT:
All reeds are handmade, which means they are handle quite a bit and thoroughly play-tested before leaving the reed desk. In compliance with the Center of Disease Control, all reeds are disinfected in 95% ethyl alcohol that is United States Pharmacopeia (USP) approved. After disinfection, the reeds are air dried inside their vial before being sealed and shipped.
Once reeds are delivered, follow the same procedures your household has implemented to disinfect groceries, post, or any other items brought inside your home. |
